Hatchimals from Spin Master were undoubtedly the must-have Christmas toy of 2016 with parents all over the world doing everything in their power to get hold of the big speckled eggs. Shortly afterwards, Hatchimals CollEGGtibles were launched, and there are now brand new Pet Obsessed Hatchimals CollEGGtibles to collect.
Last summer, Hatchimals Pixies were the newest exciting Hatchimals toy. Hatchimals Pixies are little 6.4 inch dolls with sparkly glitter hair and glittery jelly wings that come in a surprise egg. Cracking the egg would reveal which cute Hatchimals Pixie you had!
This year, the Hatchimals Pixies are going on holiday!
(NB. I suspect they can use their wings to fly and I don’t think fairies and pixies are at risk of COVID-19, before you become concerned).
Vacay Style Hatchimals Pixies come inside little plastic suitcases; you will unbox one of five fashionable friends each of which has a different destination.
Each Pixie comes with a matching stand and some themed stickers to decorate her luggage, which can be used to store your Hatchimals Pixie Vacay Style doll and accessories.

In each pack you will also find two carry-on pieces of luggage which crack open in the same way as previous CollEGGtibles.
These contain little accessories for your Hatchimals Pixie such as suncream a beret, selfie stick, floral headband, headphones, bags and more.

We got Lilac Lacey from Lilac Lake, who is visiting (of all places) London. She comes prepared with a little Union Jack bag, sunglasses and headphones.

There is also a one in ten chance you may even find an exclusive sweet stowaway Hatchimal inside; we didn’t which was a shame!
The Hatchimals Pixies, just like the last series, are made from solid plastic and their heads are jointed so you can move them. They have little glittery jelly wings.

The first wave of Hatchimals Pixies Vacay Style are the ‘pink passport’ series
There will be five further ‘purple passport’ characters to collect in future.

Personally, I think the Hatchimals Pixies are similar to, but more attractive than LOL dolls and with a similar price point. The main difference is that you can’t change their clothes, although they do have collectible accessories.
If your child likes unboxing dolls, they will enjoy Hatchimals Pixies Vacay Style. Be aware though that because there are only five dolls in this series, the chance of getting a double is quite high!
