You can find more of Ask Aunty Fran here.
Firstly, an apology. After promising that Aunty Fran would be back weekly, it has somehow been three whole weeks since the last episode.
What can I say? I’m untrustworthy; lies spill from my deceitful lips like lava.
The reason I’ve not been around is not because I’ve been signed up for a major agony-aunt TV slot, which is frankly outrageous, but because I’ve been doing a mixture of travelling (you can read about my trips here and here if you haven’t already), I had a birthday to celebrate, and also, it’s been half term and I’ve been doing that ‘parenting’ thing for a bit too. Not a whole lot, mind. They’re very independent, but it’s still hard to offer sage, life-altering advice to a backdrop of arguments and Hannah Montana.
First up, a lot of people seem to be having this problem.
What can I say? Facebook must love me. Which is why I’m currently serving a 30 day sentence at His Zuckesty’s Pleasure for doing basically sweet FA. Hmmm

Next, I thought this was a bit serious for me at first.
However the pushing kids over bit swung it.

(Serious note: Remember folks, I am absolutely NOT a trained psychologist, or a trained anything to be honest. My advice is not meant to be taken seriously. Obviously.)
I’m willing to bet that Beansy has more issues than his pubes.

Have your pubes however you like, it bothers me not one iota, as long as I don’t have to see them.
Jay is stuck in the land down under.
Where beer does flow and men chunder. Allegedly.

Right now I’d give my right nipple to be out of this country. Talking of which…
Lola is also depressed to be in Australia

Sorry, not sorry.
I have every sympathy for Sylvia.
I remember the dread, and then I remember how it was just SO MUCH WORSE than I imagined.

Good luck, hun xxx
Next up, Jean is tired.
Aren’t we all.

It’s vastly unfair but these days you’re pretty much stuck with your kids, whether they sleep or not. My advice is to accept it – tiredness has made me extremely cynical and I definitely wouldn’t have this dark sense of humour (or these massive fucking eye bags) if I wasn’t massively sleep deprived all the damn time.
I have limited sympathy for Ben…
I bet he broke his leg doing something stupid like paddle boarding or walking round Aldi.

Spoiler alert: I’ve not actually seen Squid Game and it’s unlikely I will. It sounds exhausting.
Finally, we have Vanessa.
I hate to break it to you, but that’s just kids. Right?

And that’s a wrap for this week. Possibly for the next few weeks, we’ll see what happens. Please do send in your problems, I can’t be arsed to make up questions as well as answers. This isn’t the Sun.
