Peppa Pig World: George's Dinosaur Adventure

The UK’s Top Toddler Days Out

When it comes to days out with toddlers, the best places are those that captivate the imagination and provide safe and engaging play options.

A successful day out with a toddler means finding spots where the activities are tailored to their age, stimulating their curiosity and development. They should be accessible and enjoyable for the whole family. It’s also important to find practical places that make the parents’ lives easier too. Here are some suggestions for toddler-friendly days out.

Peppa Pig World, Hampshire

Peppa Pig World - new rides: Grampy Rabbit's sailing club

Peppa Pig World, located within Paultons Park in Hampshire, is a theme park designed around the beloved children’s TV character Peppa Pig. It offers nine fun rides that are perfect for young children and toddlers. The park also features attractions like the Muddy Puddles water splash park and George’s Spaceship Indoor Playzone. Here, children can play and interact with their favourite characters from the show.

London Zoo, London

London Zoo offers endless activities tailored to toddlers – and it’s free entry for under 3s. In the Animal Adventure section, the youngest visitors can get up close to everything from llamas to meerkats. The zoo is home to exhibits like Monkey Valley, allowing tiny tots to experience 360-degree views of colobus monkeys. For those travelling from afar, getting the train to London Kings Cross provides easy access to central London. From here, you can catch a 10-minute taxi or hop on the tube or bus.

Diggerland

Situated in Yorkshire, Devon, Durham and Kent, Diggerland offers children and their families the opportunity to ride, drive, and operate real full-sized construction machinery in a safe and controlled environment. Rides have height restrictions, however smaller tots can still have fun in the soft play area and ride on miniature tractors with their parents. The paths are wide and pushchair-friendly, allowing you to get around with ease. It’s a unique adventure park that offers something different from your typical toddler day out.
