There are also many different brands of dog food so you will need to shop around a bit and find out which one will be best for your dog. Be aware that a raw food diet will require quite a bit of room in your fridge and freezer.
A Vet
When you own a dog, you will need to find a vet in case anything happens. If you get a puppy then they will need to have vaccinations to keep them fit and well. Make sure you are looking around for the very best one who can help you with anything and everything related to your dog.
Hygiene Supplies
All dogs will get dirty and smelly, especially if they enjoy rolling around in the mud. You should always have a supply of shampoo and conditioner for your dog when this happens. You can take them to a groomer but this is good for the interim. You might also like to get rid of your dog’s tear marks if they have any. You can do this with products from Young Woofians. Dogs will also need to be brushed and combed regularly to get rid of any old hair. Make sure you invest in a good quality brush.
A Bed
Every dog will need to sleep somewhere when they live with you. Your dog will need to be comfy so a good quality bed is essential. You can get these from any good pet store or take a look online. Similar to human mattresses, dog mattresses also come in many forms. You can get foam ones or ones made with memory foam. Make sure you get one that has a washable cover as they can get dirty over time.
