Geemo Tech are an e-commerce company based in China who primarily sell cleaning devices and kitchen appliances on Amazon.
The MOOSOO MT-710 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is an intelligent, wifi-enabled robot vacuum with 1800Pa powerful suction and sensors so it can be left to its own devices to clean your floors while you’re busy elsewhere.
I have sung the praises of our Eufy Robovac many times; in fact we even invested in a second vacuum for the downstairs of the house. However it’s the only brand of robot vacuum we’ve tried and I was keen to see how it compared to the MOOSOO MT-710.
The two are very alike in appearance; circular with a similar size and depth which means it is able to go underneath most furniture, an ‘on/off’ button and charging base. It comes with a spare filter, four brushes and a remote control.
The brushes slot onto the bottom where there is a brush and a dustbox, as well as wheels, sensors and charging points.
How did the MOOSOO MT-710 Robot Vacuum Cleaner perform?
When you switch the MOOSOO MT-710 it will talk to you and tell you which mode it’s in. A talking robot! How very futuristic that is.
You can switch between spot cleaning, edge cleaning, and manual cleaning via a remote, but when it first goes on it will be set up for auto-cleaning where it bimbles around picking up all the dust and crud in the room.
On a full charge, it cleaned for around 1 hour and 45 minutes before it told me it needed to be re-charged. The instructions say you will get around 2 hours on full charge so it wasn’t far off.
It then took around 20 minutes to successfully return to the charging port from the kitchen, a bit like me on a night out; slow and a bit illogical but it got there in the end. The Eufy is no different in this regard. If you go out and leave it, it is generally in the right place when you come home which is the main thing.
The vacuum cleaner slots on easily to the port and can then be re-charged for the next use, although you will need to empty the dustbox in between uses as it sucks a lot up of crud!
It didn’t have any problems negotiating rugs or the bases of the bar stools which often trip up the Eufy Robovac, in fact it didn’t beep for attention the whole time it was on, dealing with furniture and changes between different flooring surfaces easily including carpet and hard flooring.
It has infrared sensors so it won’t go around bumping into things and it has drop sensors so it won’t plummet down the stairs. Clever!
What did it suck up?
The MOOSOO MT-710 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is very effective thanks to its 1800pa super-strong suction. It picks up all manner of crud and even pet hair off the floor.
This was the dustbox after it had been on (even thought I’d previously vacuumed with my Miele bagged vacuum!). Make sure you open it over the bin!
It had even sucked up some pens and discarded playing pieces which I managed to pick out unscathed, which is pretty handy.
Smart Life App
There is, of course, an app that you can download called the ‘Smart Life App’ so you can use your vacuum cleaner remotely.
I have to be honest, I tend to just press the button, leave it on autoclean and let it go about its business, but if you are so inclined it takes just a few minutes to pair the vacuum to your wifi by downloading the app, inputting your password and then holding in the front bumper and the on/off button to connect.
From there you can see whether it’s charged, move it around and set it to whichever mode you wish.
How does the MOOSOO MT-710 Robot Vacuum Cleaner compare to the Eufy Robovac 30C?
As a previously unknown brand with no Amazon reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I would say that it does a very good job. It is simple to use and isn’t obnoxiously loud. The battery lasts a good amount of time and I was pleased (and slightly ashamed) with the amount of dust and crud it picked up on the first and subsequent run.
Compared to our Eufy Robovac 30c it is slightly chunkier, it talks rather than beeps and is easier to get on to the charging station. It has a larger dust box capacity and better suction (1800Pa compared to 1500), but it should be noted that it is also a more expensive option for a bigger/better clean so the two aren’t directly comparable.
The only thing I haven’t been able to track down are where to buy spares but I assume these will become available on Amazon soon (I have contacted the company to ask about this as based on my experience of the Eufy Robovac, I will need spare brushes in a few months!).
