If your overseas hols definitely aren’t going ahead this summer, playing fantasy holidays with your family is one way to keep yourself entertained once the disappointment subsides.

We doubt you were thinking about Leeds, but don’t discount it yet, because although it’s unlikely you’ll top up your tan in Yorkshire, this cool city actually offers a host of fab family attractions.

By the time this crisis subsides, you might be desperate for some retail therapy – there’s no way that buying online beats a good old fashioned trip to the physical stores.
And you’re in luck in Leeds because there are more superb shops here than you can shake a stick at – for instance, shop at the Trinity Leeds centre and you can spend your pennies and pounds with famous retailers like Next, H&M, Oasis, and Hollister, while you can rest and recuperate over delish food and drinks from Giraffe, Wagamama and Cote Brasserie.

Yup you read it right – there’s an urban farm in Leeds and if your kids are fascinated by animals like cows, sheep and horses, and can’t stop singing ‘Old McDonald’, it’ll be right up their street!
