Trolls World Tour, the highly anticipated (by my kids, and myself to an extent…) sequel to the first Trolls film, was due to be released in the cinemas in April.
We were already booked to go and see it, but obviously that won’t be happening now! Instead, it is due to be released straight onto streaming services on Monday 6th April, and we will watch it at home with sweets and popcorn from the comfort of our sofa.
The lockdown has been really tough for the kids.
Not just because everything is being cancelled; but being stuck in the house is no fun at all. The school has set a complete timetable of work, which is great – but their initial enthusiasm for the homeschool thing has, as predicted, waned and they need more than a little persuasion to knuckle down and get it done.
Fortunately, this ‘persuasion’ has come in the form of Topps Trolls World Tour sticker album and trading cards….
Trolls World Tour Stickers Album
My children love to collect stickers and my husband is a total sucker for them; we’ve had Topps sticker albums and used the stickers as rewards since they were tiny as you can probably tell from their chairs which they cover with all of the doubles they get!
The Trolls sticker album starter set costs £4, and contains a 32 page album to put your stickers in as well as 5 packets of Trolls stickers with seven in each packet.
There are 167 stickers to collect in total, including 32 big shiny foil stickers and 45 red fuzzy ones which are lovely to touch!
Each page has a different theme from the film. There is a colouring page and a Guess Who activity page, where you have to collect the stickers and guess who is throwing the sign of the horns.
The stickers cost 79p for a pack of seven, and can be purchased from supermarkets and newsagents when you’re doing your essentials shopping, and they’re also available from the Topps website.
Trolls World Tour Trading Cards
We were sent Topps Trolls World Tour trading cards and sticker albums which have been released in readiness for the film.
In the Trolls World Tour trading card collection there are 176 different cards to collect across four main categories, plus eight limited edition shiny cards.
There are 58 ‘Movie Time’ cards which show scenes from Trolls World Tour, 16 fuzzy cards, 32 super shiny cards and 27 puzzle cards which you can fit together to make bigger scenes from the film.
The packs of eight trading cards cost £1 per pack. There are collector’s tins priced at £6 each, which come with a pack of 40 trading cards (including one limited edition card). You can also purchase a ‘starter pack’ which comes with an album filled with plastic wallets in which you can keep all of your cards to display and trade, as well as a game mat and a packet of trading cards.
The trading cards come in packs of eight cards.

Playing the Trolls World Tour trading card game
You need two players to play the Trolls World Tour trading card game and it’s really easy.
Each player sorts through their collection to pick their 7 favourite cards (you can’t use the jigsaw cards for this game). Four cards need to be portrait cards and three landscape. Players then place their cards on the game mat which come inside the starter pack.
Players take it in turns to choose a card and call out either MUSIC or HUGS. If one player picks MUSIC the other must use the HUGS category on their card.
Players flip their cards over and compare the scores, the highest number wins and that card goes into their winning pile. The losing card gets placed in their losing pile.
Play continues with players taking it in turn until all cards are either won or lost; the player with the most cards in their winning pile wins the game.
Trolls World Tour will be available on streaming services on Monday 6th April.
