Another thing you should have at your picnic to make things a little more fun, could be a frisbee, football, or any other form of outdoor sporting equipment. Even if you’re not a particularly sporty person, having a bit of fun and running around with the kids or your friends is a good way to break up the afternoon and work off some of those pork pies!
Parasol
Finally, it’s always smart to have some sun protection on a hot day, especially if you’re planning to be outside for hours. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are things you’ll likely bring with you, but you might want to consider getting a parasol for your picnic as well.
