This is how it will work:

• I’ll pick a few wines which are easily found in main supermarkets and not too expensive.
• You’ll have a week to go and buy the wines, if you want to, and try not to drink them (or at least leave a sample!) before the day of the wine tasting.
• I will stream over Facebook Live as I try them, talk about them a little bit (the wine bit)
• You can try them along with me, join in and add your thoughts
• I – and guests – will talk about what’s pissed us off that week (the whinge bit). You can submit anonymous whinges below here:

You probably won’t learn a great deal, but it should be fun.

• The whole thing will probably go on for around an hour, maybe more or less depending on how it goes and who’s there.
• I won’t be entirely winging it, but the exact agenda will be a surprise. It won’t ALL be wine tasting.
• There’s no charge, but you have to supply your own wine and snacks.
• You don’t have to be on camera; it will take place over Facebook Live stream and participants can contribute comments.
• There’s a chance that in future I might bring guests in, but for now it’ll just be me and my other half.

If you can’t get hold of the specific wine, or you don’t like it, you can still join in. If you don’t like wine, you can still join in. If you don’t even drink, you can still join in. If you’re a knob to anyone, you’ll be blocked entirely.
