I’d hope that by now you have your Christmas jumpers out and are wearing them at any chance you get. We certainly are!
This Friday it’s Save the Children’s annual fundraiser; Christmas Jumper Day 2018!
Each year, Save the Children hold Christmas Jumper Day to raise money to help them promote children’s rights, provide relief and support children in developing countries.
My children will both be wearing their favourite Christmas jumpers, and making a £1 donation to Save the Children through the school.
Check to see if your school or workplace are holding a Christmas Jumper Day. If they aren’t, it’s not too late to sign up now.
If like me, you aren’t in a school or workplace and want to join in, get out your wackiest festive wear and go to christmasjumperday.org to donate £2.
This year, Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is being supported by WH Smith, Peppa Pig and The Beano.
There are a huge range of Christmas gifts for men, women and kids that you can buy and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to support the cause. Here are a few of them!
WHSmith is proud to once again be a supporting partner of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
This year, WHSmith and Save the Children have teamed up with bestselling children’s author Tom Fletcher to launch the first ever Christmasaurus cuddly toy. It costs £14.99, with a £3 donation per item going to Save the Children.
There is a limited edition Christmasuarus book which costs £6.99, of which 50p will be donated to Save the Children. I’ve been reading it chapter by chapter to the kids at bedtime; we all love it and I can’t wait to read the next bit!
Peppa Pig is also teaming up with Save the Children to support Christmas Jumper Day.
Special fundraising gifts include this Peppa Pig festive jigsaw which costs £9.99, of which £1 will be donated to Save the Children.
There is also a range of Peppa Pig Christmas Jumpers including Peppa and George children’s jumpers which are available via the Paulton’s Park gift shop, if you happen to be going to Peppa Pig World this Christmas!
Finally the Beano, a favourite from my own childhood, are on board.
(Please tell me I wasn’t the only one in the Beano fan club?)
These festive Gnasher Christmas jumpers are available for both adults and children, and 10% of the profits are being donated to Save the Children. See them in the Beano Shop.
We were sent some of the items pictured in exchange for this post but words are mine. Please visit the Christmas Jumper Day website or follow Save the Children on Facebook or Twitter for more information about how you can join in!
