My children are big fans of fromage frais. In fact, my daughter firmly believes that no packed lunch or evening meal is complete without it to follow. I love fromage frais as it’s a good way to get calcium into her, as she isn’t really a fan of milk.
Munch Bunch Organic offered us the chance to trial some of their new products, and challenged us to see if we could #FeedTheirPlayfulNature by coming up with some brilliant jokes.
I thought it sounded right up our street, for as those of you who are familiar with this blog will know, I am rarely one to be serious.
After all, why would you want to be serious when you can be silly instead?
It’s something I’ve definitely passed on to my giggly first born. She loves to laugh out loud, she enjoys playing games and finds the fun in everything she does (apart from eating vegetables or tidying her room. She finds no fun in that).
As she has grown up into a Big Girl, her sense of humour has developed.
Well, a little bit. Her jokes are still pretty bad (sorry, but if you have a four year old, you’ll know), however she is slowly grasping the concept that to make people laugh, a joke needs to a) make sense and b) be funny.
Previously they were neither and it was pretty painful (“How did the frog cross the road? Because all the cars are coming! NOW YOU LAUGH MUMMY!”).
We thought we’d try to invent some great (tenuously) fromage frais-related jokes and these were our favourites:[click_to_tweet tweet=”How do you make a cow quiet? Press the moooo-te button.” quote=”How do you make a cow quiet? Press the moo-te button.”] [click_to_tweet tweet=”What do you call a sleeping cow? A bull dozer” quote=”What do you call a sleeping cow? A bull dozer“] [click_to_tweet tweet=”Why did the cow cross the road? To get to the udder side” quote=”Why did the cow cross the road? To get to the udder side“].
If they don’t have your four year olds giggling, I don’t know what will.
Nestlé Munch Bunch Organic pouches are a brilliant way to #FeedTheirPlayfulNature on the go.
My oldest has also taken them in her preschool packed lunch, and they’re positively perfect for picnics.
We took some of our Munch Bunch Organic strawberry fromage frais pouches to the zoo, so that she could eat while watching the big cats lion about and the primates monkeying around.
In her eyes they’re the best because you don’t even need to stop moving to enjoy the pouches (although you probably should).
They’re tasty and creamy, they contain calcium, and above all they don’t make a mess even when you’re having fun at the zoo!
The lack of mess definitely gets two big thumbs up from me.
You can even re-use the pouches! Why not visit the Munch Bunch Organic Facebook page here for some crafting inspiration!
We also got to try out some of the new Munch Bunch Organic small pots.
The Munch Bunch Organic small pots are brilliant for a snack or pudding at home.
They are 42g so won’t spoil an appetite, and make a great sweet treat for after tea.
They come in three delicious flavours; strawberry, banana and apricot!
You can currently buy the Munch Bunch Organic small pots and pouches from most supermarkets for around £2.
Oh and this joke was my personal favourite joke, although it’s really one for the adults:[click_to_tweet tweet=”Why can’t you make clothes out of cheese? Because Fromage Frais.” quote=”Why can’t you make clothes out of cheese? Because Fromage Frais“]
