It isn’t often that a toy comes along and you think ‘wow, that’s so creative! I’ve never seen anything like that before’ but with Squigz, that is exactly what I thought when we received a Starter Set for review.

What are Squigz?

Squigz are, so the marketing says, a species all their own. They are fun little suckers which your children will love playing with.

Squigz are made from a central ball, and each have one or more suckers attached. They are made from BPA-free, latex-free washable silicone and have a very pleasing rubbery feel. Each type of Squigz comes in a different colour and has a funny name to go with it.

In the Squigz Start Set you get 2 Pips, 8 Doodles, 4 Grippities, 4 Yoinks, 2 Skooches, 2 Gobnobs, 1 Wonkity, 1 Zorbit.

How do Squigz work and what can you do with them?

Squigz are great, extremely versatile building toys!

You can squish Squigz to almost any flat surface (a table, wall, window or bath for example) or to each other and the suction keeps them in place.

They’re very flexible and bendy too which allows you to make whatever shapes you want and unleash your creativity!

To take them apart, you simply pull them until – pop! – they come apart again, ready to make something new!

Squigz are a fantastic idea, and they have so many uses.

We have been using ours as bath toys, building bridges from one side of the bath to the other, racing to see who can finish first!

If you have cupboard doors, see who can make the most interesting handles able to open the doors.

Squiqz can even stick to your face!

Their bright colours are attractive and they are very tactile so I can see them appealing to people of all ages. They’re suitable from age 3 upwards and I can even imagine adults using them as stress relievers; they are very satisfying to play with.

Best of all, there are no rules.

My kids love them!
